What Do I Need?

Today I wanted to write about different perspectives, or one can say points of view?

In my opinion, there are many ways to see the world and/or what is right in front of me.

For example, while I was making my morning shake that contains several different products, such as items from Dr. Gundry, my boiled ginger water and frozen organic blueberries. As I looked at these contents, I noticed something was different.

As I stood there, I was thinking…what am I missing or a better question I’ve learned to ask is, what do I still need to add?

I started thinking about how I have learned to look at situations and experiences from many different sides.

I thought about how I’ve learned to think about my life from some of the cultural teachings from the Medicine Wheel, and another perspective was from Buddhist teachings and the philosophies from Louise Hay.

The above thought, “what do I need to add?” Came from Buddhist teachings.

Then in the Medicine Wheel teachings, there are four aspects of life and self for consideration in its simplest form.

The mental, physical, spiritual and emotional. How many times have you heard this?

Here I can combine the two teachings I have learned and ask when I am not feeling well, balanced or not in harmony; I can ask what I need to add to my life to feel balanced and in harmony?

Being in harmony with oneself and others in my relationships is often one of my guides to reflect upon and reflect on how I am doing?

After this time of reflection, I might realize I need to spend more time in one area of my life than another to feel more in harmony and balanced.

Also, letting go of perfectionism and self-criticism has been helpful for me to show up calm and focused when I do a task or work with others (Hay, L).

So here, I need to add more SELF ACCEPTANCE and LOVE.

What do you need to add to your life to make it better for you?

What do you want to do to bring more harmony and balance to your wheel of life?

I want to bring my best self to each coaching session I do with the individuals who use my service. I try to practice what I value and believe in, which is how I show up for you. I believe in being present when I am there to serve; I value connectedness, self-awareness and growth.

I believe each person has a right and responsibility to articulate what brings them peace, happiness and well-being.

I believe culture and relationships provide a space and experience to help us understand who we each are and how we choose to express our unique personalities within this context. There is freedom in knowing who you are and what makes you feel alive and vibrant! There is freedom in being committed to self-growth and development!

There is joy in doing the inner work and self-reflection to decide to write a new story, a new page or chapters in life.
